Now an RYA Centre for power boat training.
Aims of the Charity
The promotion of healthy recreation in and around water. To give people the skills and confidence to be able to use various items of rescue equipment. This could be from a boat or along the shore line. How to spot when someone is in danger and being able to contact other people for help ( 999 ).
Training could cover how to drive small safety boats; to taking part in first aid training.
Our plan is to be able to provide various water safety courses and first aid training to the members of the club and public.
RSBB is run on a voluntary basis by its members. Usually courses are run at the weekends, however they can be run during the week should the need arise.
The Club
The club night is on a Friday night, however other nights are available for land based courses depending upon demand for a course. On occasions the building is used by various organisations who are working in the area in and around Wembley as a temporary work office e.g. film crews and cast.
