Below are a list of courses we aim to run in the future. Some of these will be the full course and others will be extra training sessions on items our members feel they need more practice with. To run a course there must be a minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 6. Week day and private session could also be arranged.
The calendar will show the next course, switch the view a Month, you will be able to see more of the activities. You will need an account to be able to book an activity. Select an activity, then the amount of places. You will be sent a confirmation email and payment details within 48 hours. If there are no places left on a course, please use the “Contact RSBB” form to be placed on the reserve list.
RSBB Course prices for Start Power Boating £320 per person.
The Start Power Boating or Power Boating log books are not included in the price. When applying for a place on the course, please let us know if you also require the books.
Course description (Start Powerboating (PB2)
Provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low-speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations. The course can be taken at an inland or coastal location. It may be conducted in a variety of boat types, both planing and displacement. The certificate issued will be endorsed to show the type of boat in which the training took place
